/ the track
Importing and exporting raw ingredients and food products is a common practice, it has been for a long time. However, the fees, certifications, and regulations for this economic activity vary greatly per country, making international trade complex and inefficient. New technologies can help to make this process more efficient, transparent and automated.
The first partner we can announce for this track is The Dutch Enterprise Agency (RVO). This government agency operates under supervision of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. It aims to stimulate entrepreneurs in sustainable, innovative, agricultural and international business. Soon we’ll announce more involved organizations, so stay tuned!
Novel technological innovations, such as blockchain, enable us to digitize and automate contracts. These so-called smart contracts can be useful to tackle challenges regarding in- and exports processes. By embedding rules, regulations and tariffs into smart contracts these processes can become more streamlined than ever.
